In this episode of Mission Evolution we discuss how to do philanthropy the right way in under-developed regions. I describe the simple and beautiful culture of the Rai people in Basa, Nepal, and how the Basa Village Foundation USA, the Basa Village Foundation Nepal NGO, and the local community are working together to improve the standard of living in Basa, while preserving the community's values, customs, and traditions. It is an ongoing effort.
